The Attica Urn is taken from an early Victorian original that borrowed much from the early Greeks. It has a grand classic shape with a dart motif on the body of the bowl and a simple bead about the bullnose rim. The base (or foot) consists of a pedestal that flares down to a square base. It is made from lightweight fiberglass and is suitable for use in the garden or conservatory. Placed on a pedestal this urn will make a great statement. Plant with ivies or florals. (Wikipedia) Attica or the Attic peninsula, is a historical region that encompasses the city of Athens, the capital of Greece. The history of Attica is tightly linked with that of Athens, and specifically the Golden Age of Athens during the classical period. We were inspired to create the Attica as a harmonious graceful urn that will fit inside or outdoors on the floor, table or on a stand. Meticulously hand cast and hand finished patina in extremely durable marine grade freeze proof fiberglass. Strong, reinforced fiberglass but quite light weight. Guaranteed outdoor durability.
