Fonthill Urn

The Fonthill Urn is a large estate urn planter with a wide low-profile bowl. It is also one our largest urns. The bowl with a single inset just beneath the bull nose rim has a very clean design and rests on a pedestal that flares down to a square base. The stand is interesting because of its fluted, almost Art Deco design. This urn, because of its understated classic design, will make a statement in traditional and modern settings alike. With its almost 4 feet diameter bowl this is a very large planter perfect for the veranda or a garden setting, The urn is suitable for geraniums, ivies, and other florals and is just as outstanding unplanted. When paired with its matching St. Louis Pedestal (sold separately below and as part of a combination urn and pedestal set) the Fonthill Urn is an impressive architectural feature that can serve as the centerpiece of an entrance drive, garden niche, veranda or entrance foyer.

This distinctive urn is hand cast and hand finished in our USA foundry in high density cast stone. Guaranteed outdoor durability.

St. Louis Pedestal

The St. Louis Pedestal is the matching base for the Fonthill Urn and the St. Louis Urn, but is also a great fit for many of our urns and planters. At 28" tall and with a top usable surface of 23", the St. Louis Pedestal is one of our larger pedestals and when it is matched with the Fonthill Urn that brings the total height to an impressive 54" (about 4 1/2 feet), making the pair a commanding focal point to a garden niche, patio, entrance drive or an indoor entrance foyer. The pedestal is equipped with a 10" hole for drainage. Use with the St. Louis Urn or with many of our other fine urns.
