Longwood Fluted Urn

The Longwood Fluted Urn is at the large end of a medium estate urn spectrum. It features a wonderfully carved fluted dart design about the bowl which rests on a short round pedestal that sweeps down to a square base. The Longwood Fluted Urn will make a statement in traditional and modern settings alike. It is quite stunning. With its slightly over 18" inch diameter bowl this urn has a presence perfect by an entrance, on a veranda wall, or in a garden setting,

The urn is especially attractive when placed on a pedestal and we have three pedestals that we feel are perfect matches (sold separately, below), our Classic Pedestal, either the tall or the short, and the Square Pedestal which is featured here.

The urn is meticulously hand cast in cast stone with a hand finished patina which makes it a stately architectural feature that can serve as the centerpiece of an garden path entrance, in a garden niche, on a veranda or in an entrance foyer.

Square Pedestal

The Square Pedestal with its classic shape is a great fit for many of our sculpts, urns and planters. This rectangular high-density cast stone pedestal features an incised panel on each front. Understated, but very elegant. The pedestal is 16" tall and when matched with the Longwood Fluted Urn the total height is 31" (over 2 1/2 feet), making the pair an outstanding focal point to a garden niche, patio, a low stone wall or an indoor entrance foyer. The pedestal with its simple rectangular shape doesn't distract the eye from the object it displays. It is also quite substantial and sturdy and once placed will be very stable. The pedestal does not have a drain hole.
