Mondavio Trough Planter

The Mondavio Trough Planter with its clean lines is reminiscent of the old western horse trough found in front of "Ye Olde Saloon". The planter is in the form of a slightly tapered rectangle and is four feet in length and a bit over a foot and a half in width and sits on a recessed rectangular base. This shape is perfect to use the planter as divider of a larger space or to edge the veranda or patio. Plant with taller greens like arborvitae or shrubs to create a screen and two or three of these troughs arranged together can create an intimate space for an outside dining alcove. Planted with lower profile plants these troughs can line a path or be an under window accent by an entrance or on a porch. The possibilities are virtually endless. This a very handsome and versatile planter which will provide years of enjoyment and appreciation.

This distinctive planter is meticulously hand cast and hand finished in our USA foundry in extremely durable fiberstone. Fiberstone is a mixture of sand and stones cast into the surface to give the appearance of aged stone. Reinforced with a fiberglass backing, it remains lighter and less fragile than concrete. Guaranteed outdoor durability.
