Pomerol Planters - Set of 2

The Pomerol Planters - Set of 2 are extremely attractive pots, accented with a rich multi layered Bordeaux glaze patina. They both have a beautiful undulating ribbing that is just gorgeous. In the HenFeathers collection of glazed pottery, it's all about the patina and the Pomerol Planters are great examples. The Bordeaux glaze on these pots is exquisite with mesmerizing depth.

There are two sizes in the set of these incredible vases. The large is over 2 feet in height and the medium about 20" tall. While the one is a bit larger than the other they both exhibit the same attractive profile. They are perfect for poolside, verandas, patio corners and practically any indoor/outdoor garden setting. These vessels are also used to define large spaces; use several to line a walkway, hall or foyer. Display individually or together in a tiered arrangement to make a special statement.

Meticulously hand made and hand finished in high fired terra cotta. Only available in the beautiful Bordeaux glaze as shown. In addition to the Pomerol planters set there are several other vessels in the Bordeaux glaze group that can make stunning arrangements when mixed and matched. The group includes the Merlot Planters, the Cabernet Planters, and the Castilion Planter shown below.

Our glazed and terra cotta pottery is high fired between 990 (terra cotta) and 1000 (glazed) degrees centigrade to ensure frost resistance and durability. Due to the processes used in the manufacturing of our hand-made and hand-glazed containers, all variations with respect to firing, color, size and crackling are natural occurrences in the manufacturing process. The glazes on our containers consist of natural, not chemical, components and therefore the final color of the product will vary. This process creates the unique beauty of each piece.

Note: While the high firing temperature and quality of our glazed and terra cotta containers results in a durable and frost-resistant product, we still recommend that they be stored in a frost-free covered area in winter. If left outside, water may accumulate in the container and freeze, causing the planter to crack and break. Planters that must be left outside should be covered to prevent water, snow and ice from accumulating inside the planter.
