The Small Ravenna Urn is classic goblet urn with a wonderful spiral design. With its late Roman motif the Small Ravenna Urn will make a statement in traditional and modern settings alike. With its 12" inch diameter bowl and its 1 1/2 foot height this is a stately urn perfect for entrances or in a garden setting, Use alone on a veranda or patio wall or inside on side table or pedestal. When paired with its matching Tall Lenox Pedestal (sold separately below) the Small Ravenna Urn is an understated architectural feature that can serve as the centerpiece of an entrance drive, garden niche, veranda or entrance foyer.

This distinctive fountain is hand cast and hand finished in our USA foundry in high density cast stone. Guaranteed outdoor durability.

Ravenna

[From Wikipedia] Ravenna is the capital city of the Province of Ravenna in Northern Italy. It was the capital city of the Western Roman Empire from 402 until that empire collapsed in 476. It then served as the capital of the Ostrogothic Kingdom until it was re-conquered in 540 by the Byzantine Empire. Afterwards, the city formed the centre of the Byzantine Exarchate of Ravenna until the invasion of the Lombards in 751, after which it became the seat of the Kingdom of the Lombards. Although it is an inland city, Ravenna is connected to the Adriatic Sea by the Candiano Canal. It is known for its well-preserved late Roman and Byzantine architecture, with eight buildings comprising the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Early Christian Monuments of Ravenna".

Tall Lenox Pedestal

The Tall Lenox Pedestal is the matching base for the Small Ravenna Urn, but is also a great fit for many of our other urns and planters. The pedestal is over 25" tall and when matched with the Small Ravenna Urn the total height is an impressive 43" (over 3 1/2 feet), making the pair an arresting focal point to a garden niche, patio, entrance drive or an indoor entrance foyer. It is also quite substantial and sturdy and once placed will be very stable. The pedestal is equipped with a 2" hole for drainage.

The pedestal is meticulously hand cast in cast stone with a hand finished patina. Use with the Small Ravenna Urn or with many of our other urns, planters or sculpture.
