Taos Rich Black Tall Planter

The Taos Rich Black Tall Planters are stunning tall pots. They are sizable garden planters with a surface that looks like they have fissures and craters in them, thanks to the incredible reactive cream glazing that was applied after the vessel was fired. There is a mottling on the surface of the tan planters that brings an incredible texture. These are standout vessels, planted or not, inside or outdoors, on a patio, deck or in a garden. Use two of the same height together to frame an entrance or use the two sizes to create an impressive tiered display.

Finely crafted in terra cotta. These planters are distinguished by their splendid forms and clean lines. Guaranteed outdoor durability. Both planters have a drain hole, though the vessels do not come with plugs. Color finishes are hand applied and may vary making each piece unique.

Note: While the high firing temperature and quality of our glazed and terra cotta containers results in a durable and frost-resistant product, we still recommend that they be stored in a frost-free covered area in winter. If left outside, water may accumulate in the container and freeze, causing the planter to crack and break. Planters that must be left outside should be covered to prevent water, snow and ice from accumulating inside the planter.
