Smithsonian Classical Urn

As part of the Smithsonian Collection the Smithsonian Classical Urn is a classic fluted urn similiar to our Venetian urn. With wonderfully clean lines, this urn has a truely classic contour and features an egg and dart rim and a short pedestal connecting the urn to a square base. The Smithsonian Classical Urn makes a definite design statement that is both timeless and captivating. Use in any garden setting, indoors or outside, but is a wonderful element by an entrance, a garden path or framing a veranda especially utilized as a pair. Meticulously hand cast in cast stone with a hand finished patina. Guaranteed outdoor durability.

Barnett Pedestal

The Barnett Pedestal is the matching base for the Smithsonian Classical Urn described above. The pedestal is over 21" tall and when matched with the Smithsonian Classical Urn the total height is an impressive 48" (4 feet), making the pair a commanding focal point to a garden niche, patio, entrance drive or an indoor emtrance foyer. The pedestal is equipped with a 6.5" hole for drainage. As with the urn, the pedestal is meticulously hand cast in cast stone with a hand finished patina. Use with the Smithsonian Classical Urn or with many of our other urns. NOTE: The finishes are designed to replicate the look of natural aging, but unlike a painted finish, the patinas do not prevent the natural aging process. Any cast stone item with a patina finish will weather naturally in an outdoor environment.
