As part of the Smithsonian Collection the Smithsonian L'Enfant Urn is truely a classic. This urn has the graceful contour of a traditional urn, but, features two handles attached to the bowl.The rim has a beautifully carved variation of an egg and dart design. The urn's bowl that connects to a pedestal that gently sweeps down to an oval base. This is also a large, very substantial estate urn that becomes the central focus of any setting. The Smithsonian is a terrific design that makes a grand statement especially when matched with the Smithsonian Egg and Dart Pedestal. Smithsonian Egg and Dart Pedestal

The Smithsonian Egg & Dart Pedestal is the matching base for the Smithsonian L'Enfant Urn (see below). The pedestal is over 22" tall and when matched with the Smithsonian L'Enfant Urn the total height is an impressive 52" (over 4 1/4'), making the pair a commanding focal point to a garden niche, patio, entrance drive or an indoor emtrance foyer. The pedestal is equipped with a 6.5" hole for drainage. The pedestal is meticulously hand cast in cast stone with a hand finished patina. Use with the Jefferson Urn or with many of our other urns.
